Unexpectedly getting up in a world populated by Greek Gods and all of the mythical analogies coming true is like reliving an epic movie scene. Rewind your life ten words and WELCOME TO JASHN 2022, the UAE’s Largest Inter-University Cultural Festival. Enter the vicious cycle of entertainment and pleasure on the grounds of BITS Pilani Dubai Campus from the 7th to the 10th of March. Mark the dates on your calendar because the town’s newest buzz is just around the corner.

JASHN has become synonymous with entertainment during the years that the BITS Pilani Dubai Campus has been in operation. Several universities from throughout the UAE participate and showcase their cultural abilities on stage. The event is well-known for its cultural acts disguised as a competition between colleges, as well as guest performances by notable artists from their various fields of expertise. Every year, the heritage of the same is carried through, and this year’s organising team vows to have the Grandest of all editions.

JASHN’22 defines the language of entertainment and features 13 participating colleges this year, with 13 competitive activities and 18 events overall over four lengthy but ironically short days. Stand-up comedy, musical performances, dance performances, theatrical performances, quiz competitions, and car shows are among the many events on the schedule.

The following is the schedule for the same:
Day 1 (7th March 2022):
 5:00-6:30: Car Show
 6:30-6:50: Inaugration
 6:50-7:50: Dancing Duet
 8:00-11:00: Battle of Bands

 Day 2 (8th March 2022):
 3:00-4:00: One Man Show (Stand Up Comedy Competition)
 4:30-6:00: Car Show
 5:30-6:45: Western Group Dance
7:00-8:30: Eastern Group Dance
9:00-10:00: Stand-up Comedian (Harsh Gujral)

 Day 3 (9th March 2022):
 2:00-4:00: Proscenium (Stage Play Competition)
 3:30-6:00: Western Solo & Duet Singing
 6:00-8:30: Eastern Solo & Duet Singing
 9:00-10:00: Celebrity Singer Performance (Zaeden)

Day 4 (10th March 2022):
 1:00-3:00: Perplexed (Quizzing Competition)
 3:00-4:00: Nukkad Natak (Street Play Competition)
4:00-5:00: Instrumental
 5:00-6:00: Drape
 6:00-8:00: Fashion Show
 9:00-10:30: DJ Performance (Lost Stories)

The rainbows appear to be even brighter beneath the overpowering excitement of the sky. The day 2 showstopper performances are planned to be performed by a prominent talent in the discipline. On the second day, March 8th, the metaphorical term, ‘ROFL,’ will leave the urban chat world and become a physical expression, as we have the famed Stand-Up Comedian, Harshdeep Gujral, entering the stage and not allowing us to rest our cheek muscles. The next day, March 9th will see more flashlights waving in the air than stars glooming in the sky, as we have popular musician, Sahil Sharma, well known as Zaeden, nourishing our spirits with his heavenly song. On the final day, March 10th, to mark the departure of our sorrow at the thought of JASHN’s final day, the renowned DJ, Rishab Joshi from Lost Stories, will be playing the beats to boost up our adrenaline rush and permanently imprint the chapter of JASHN’22 in our heart and soul as one of the most precious memories.
