His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, started his official account on Tiktok on 19th December 2020. In today’s time TikTok is the fastest growing social media platform with more than 800 million followers.
Making the announcement on his official twitter account, HH Sheikh Mohammed said: “Today, I launched my official account on the TikTok platform, the fastest growing in the world, which has more than 800 million followers. We want to be where people are…..We want to build positive Arabic content. We want to hear the young people and share our story with them,”.
His first video was a motivational video which attracted a lot of audience, he received about 88.2K likes and 17.7K comments on it. Right now he has about 79.1K followers.

Sheikh Mohammed said that most young people use TikTok and it is very important to connect with them. Hence he claims to create positive and motivational content on his account.
