This year global warming has created havoc around the whole world. From wildfires to towns and cities experiencing temperatures they have never experienced before. One such bizarre news has come from a town names Sicily. Sicily, an Italian town, experienced temperatures so high that the snails in that town were cooked alive, literally.
“See, this one is cooked inside,” said a farmer of snails used in the region’s cuisine, Giusy Pappalardo. “The heat caused the snails’ feet to burn as they moved across the ground”, Pappalardo said. “Some snails managed to burrow into the soil, but she wasn’t optimistic about their chances, either.”
