The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis, and Disasters Committee has revised the protocol for entering the emirate from within the UAE, requiring a green permit for those who have been vaccinated and a negative PCR test result for those who have not been vaccinated.
The additional entrance requirements, which go into effect on Thursday, December 30, 2021, in addition to deploying EDE scanners to quickly detect suspected COVID-19 cases, are in line with efforts to continue improving preventative measures to safeguard public health.
To enter the emirate from within the UAE, vaccinated individuals will now exhibit a green status on the Alhosn App, while unvaccinated individuals must present a negative PCR test result received within 96 hours.
