This year marks the UAE’s Golden Jubilee, which is being commemorated on a grand scale. Along with the governmental sector, several private-sector organisations are taking part in the festivities. Carrefour, which is owned and run by Majid Al Futtaim in the UAE, said on Thursday that they will be providing free ice cream from December 2 to 4 from their ice cream trucks to residents in Sharjah, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Ajman.
Vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, and pistachio will be among the delectable flavours inspired by the UAE flag’s colours. The top retailer’s Emirati staff have offered to serve free ice cream to residents and visitors alike. In the run-up to National Day, the Emirati retailer is giving away AED 2.5 million to over 5,000 Carrefour clients.
Each day 500 customers will win AED 500. While on December 2, five customers will be selected at random to win AED 50,000. Furthermore, 500 goods will be discounted by up to 50% in important categories such as food and beverage, local fresh fruit, electronics, home and kitchen equipment, and much more.
