From now on, Expo 2020 Dubai will not require the use of face masks outside public areas. Visitors will no longer be required to wear face masks in open spaces, but you must wear your mask within pavilions and other enclosed interior locations, according to an order issued late Saturday, February 27.
The new limitations are in effect as a result of the UAE’s statement on Friday, February 25, that it is relaxing COVID-19 restrictions. According to the National Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Authority, wearing face masks is now optional in open locations in the UAE and essential in restricted ones (NCEMA).
Visitors to prominent entertainment places with high Expo attendance are encouraged to wear masks, according to event organisers. The rules governing admittance to Expo 2020 have not changed. All Expo guests above the age of 18 must present proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test done within the preceding 72 hours.
