You’ve heard of the 30-day and 90-day tourist visas, but would you ever imagine a full 5-year multiple-entry UAE tourist visa? But it’s true, the UAE Government have launched this new issuance and here is everything you need to know about it.

This new visa issuance will permit eligible passport holders to gain a tourist visa that allows for a 90-day visit to the UAE with the allowance of a one-time extension for a similar period, valid for 5 years from the date of issuance. This means that tourists can now visit Dubai and the rest of the UAE for up to 180 consecutive days in one year.

The main places for application of the 5-Year visa is the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) website and their mobile application. As well as the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security website.

According to the GDRFA website, the application will cost AED 650. Here is a breakdown of what the amount is going towards. Also note that some costs may vary depending on the information you have provided in the application process.
