From February 2, 2022, employees in the UAE can work for more than one employer at a time. This law was announced under the new labour law on Monday. Employees in the private sector can also work flexible or temporary or part-time. This is under the Federal Law No. 33 of 2021 regulating labour relations.
Working part-time or freelancing allows employees to work for more than one employer. Temporary work means work on a project or contract basis. Flexible work or freelancing helps employers to work differently depending on their free will and according to the requirements of the job that they are doing.
