So, you finally tackled that closet clean-up you’ve been putting off for months, and now you’ve got a towering pile of “I might wear this again” clothes you definitely won’t. Now what?
You’ve got two solid options:
Turns out, Dubai’s got some seriously cool ways to give your fashion rejects a second chance. And you get rewarded for it too.

There are companies that’ll literally pay you for your used clothes, shoes, and even home textiles. Just schedule a pick-up and they’ll come weigh your items. You’ll typically earn AED 1–2 per kilo.
Bonus: They also take toys, blankets, kitchen utensils – and other things you’ve been meaning to part with.
1. Malabsi
Got clothes, shoes, or bags lying around? Malabsi will happily take them off your hands and hand you AED 2 per kilo. Toys and blankets go for AED 1/kg. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
2. Kiswa
Another solid option! They offer AED 2/kg for clothes and also accept shoes, cotton toys, bags, and bedsheets. Basically, your entire “don’t need this anymore” pile.
3. Give and Take
No fuss, no drama. Just a super convenient platform for responsibly upcycling your pre-loved stuff. They’ll hand you AED 2 per kilo of clothes, shoes and bags. For used toys and kitchen utensils, you’ll be offered AED 1 per kilo.
4. Al Kawthr
This one’s pretty flexible too – AED 2/kg for clothes, and AED 1/kg for everything else from shoes to kitchen stuff. Yes, even those random pans you probably never used.
5. Centerpoint
And now here’s a bonus because you’ve staggered your way till here! Centerpoint is on the game too and this might be for a limited time! Drop off your old clothes in-store and get rewarded with an AED 20 voucher through their “Give Your Clothes a New Life” campaign. Retail therapy = meaningfully justified!
Well, aren’t you a gem? Donation boxes are placed across Dubai – near malls, mosques, residential areas, and community centers. Don’t forget to check the labels for bag size and item guidelines.
You can also drop off old clothes and other items at Dubai Municipality’s recycling centers if you’re looking to reduce waste responsibly.
Dubai’s got all the options – whether you want to clear space, earn some cash, or give back. You’ve done the hard part (decluttering). Now sit back and let your old stuff do something useful!
