Dubai’s FIRST Egyptian Shawarma Spot Is Here And Everything’s Under AED 16!

Fellow Dubai dwellers, if your shawarma routine has started to feel like that one WhatsApp forward from your uncle, predictable and mildly soggy, it’s time to flip the script. A brand-new eatery has landed in town, and it’s not just any wrap-and-roll joint. Shawarmary is here, dishing out Egyptian flair, flavour, and everything on the menu for under AED 16. Yes, you read that right. Now pick your jaw off the floor and keep scrolling.

This Ain’t Your Regular Khuboos Affair

Alright, so if you’re expecting the usual dry, khuboos-wrapped, “don’t-know-what’s-inside” shawarma, dear reader, think again. This beauty comes in fluffy potato buns (I know, potato buns!) slathered with tahini, loaded with coal-grilled meat, and tossed in a confetti of tomatoes and parsley. All of these dancing around like they’re in a garden party. It’s Egyptian-style and it is nothing short of gorgeous.

For the Ones Who Like Options (and Fried Things)

Not vibing with shawarma today? First of all, are you okay? But secondly and on second thoughts, we get it – variety is the spice of lunch. Do yourself a favour and try their fried shrimp sandwich. It’s crunchy, golden, and the kind of decision you won’t regret at 3 PM. Oh, and they have crunchy potato chips that are so good they should come with a warning label. You definitely need to add it as a side. Go on, calories under AED 16 don’t count. That’s science.

Thirsty? Mango Juice Like You’ve Never Tasted Before

If you live in Dubai, you already know what the sun does to a person. You start the day optimistic and by noon you’re bargaining with God. And then sashays in Shawarmary’s thick, creamy mango juice. It’s like a tropical holiday in a cup. It should be prescribed as therapy, honestly.

Sakalans: Dessert or Sweet Nostalgia? (Spoiler: It’s Both)

Okay, deep breath, because we need to talk about Sakalans. If you’re Egyptian, I don’t need to explain. But for the rest of us: imagine a slice of bread that’s had the BEST DAY of its life. It’s covered in jam, halawa, Ashta (a dreamy cream), and honey. It’s sweet and sticky and unapologetically indulgent. Kinda like the edible version of a childhood memory, but with better plating.

So What’s the Catch?

Well, there isn’t one! Everything is under AED 16. I mean, even my parking ticket for over a couple of hours would cost more than that. Shawarmary is now firmly in my “break-glass-in-case-of-cravings” list. It’s warm, it’s comforting, it’s budget-friendly, and it doesn’t ghost you the next day. Frankly, I think this could be love!
