Dubai Designates 4 Women & Family-Only Beaches For The Eid Al Etihad Long Weekend

This Eid Al Etihad, Dubai is making sure everyone has a safe and fun place to celebrate – especially women and families. Exclusively from November 30th to December 3rd, ladies and families can enjoy quality time together at select beaches around Dubai. So, if you want to celebrate National Day by the beach this year with your family, keep reading to find out which ones are designated just for you.

Which Beaches Are For Families This Eid Al Etihad?

Women and families can enjoy added privacy on these beaches: Jumeirah Beach 2, Jumeirah Beach 3, Umm Suqeim 1, and Umm Suqeim 2. If you’re planning to visit a beach in Dubai with a mixed group of friends, please be mindful to avoid the above-listed beaches from Saturday, November 30th, to Tuesday, December 3rd.

Which Beaches Are Available To The Public?

For those who do not fall under the women and families category but are still eager to hit the beach this weekend, there are plenty of fantastic options like Kite Beach, The Beach at JBR, Dubai Island’s Beach, Al Mamzar Beach Park and many more. Let’s all remember to respect the restrictions on these designated beaches so everyone can enjoy a memorable Eid Al Etihad!

Safety First

To keep these beaches safe and enjoyable, Dubai Municipality has deployed a 135-member safety and rescue team, ensuring all visitors are looked after. Additionally, a 60-member field supervisory team will oversee operations throughout the long weekend, working closely with partners to monitor all activities and ensure everything runs smoothly.
