A Celebration Of Culture & Tradition

The Souq Ramadan has been launched to honour the holy month of Ramadan while preserving the charm of Dubai’s rich heritage. The event aims to spotlight the beauty of traditional souqs as vibrant cultural hubs that help unite all communities in Dubai, citizens, residents and tourists, under one roof, offering a shopping experience steeped in tradition and warmth of the Holy Month.

In The Heart Of Old Dubai

Wonder why the Dubai Municipality chose old Dubai as the location? The Grand Souq in Deira is more than just a marketplace – it’s one of Dubai’s oldest and most cherished. By hosting the Ramadan Souq here, the event pays homage to its legacy of being the starting point to all of Dubai’s grandeur!

Countdown To Ramadan

Ramadan is expected to begin on Saturday, March 1, although the exact date will be confirmed closer to the time by the UAE’s moon-sighting committee. The holy month will last 29 or 30 days, depending on the crescent moon’s sighting, which will also determine the date of Eid Al Fitr. Be sure to stay tuned to Gulf Buzz, as we’ll be the first to update you on the official Eid Al Fitr dates!

Whether you’re looking for festive goodies, a family outing, or a cultural experience, Souq Ramadan promises to be the perfect pre-Ramadan celebration! Don’t miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich traditions and warm community spirit of Dubai’s first Ramadan market of the season.
