Outdoor activities like hiking, camping, bonfires etc are even better during the winter season. Since UAE winters are not that harsh and are just perfect for outdoor activities, here is one place you can go to with your friends and family. The Dry Valley Mountains in Ras Al Khaimah. If you are planning a two-day outing, this place is perfect. Start your hike in the morning and you’ll reach the abandoned field by evening. There you can camp for the night and then again hike down in the morning. A few things that you should keep in mind are, carry at least 5-6 litres of water per person, be careful while descending because the path is rocky, carry few energy bars and hike in winters for a better experience. While hiking you will meet people who actually live in the mountains! The hike is around 15 km but it is totally worth it because you’ll get great scenic views!
