On Monday, the UAE reported 198 Covid-19 cases, with daily infection rates dropping to their lowest levels this year. It is the first time since December 15th that coronavirus levels have fallen below 200. In the last 24 hours, another 370 people have beaten the virus. Since March 7, no coronavirus-related deaths have been reported.
As part of a mass screening strategy, more than 152.7 million tests have been performed. The number of daily cases has dropped significantly this year, after peaking at over 3,000 in January. In response to the encouraging decline, the government has moved to relax some Covid-19 restrictions.
