This one is for all my OG Dubai and UAE kids; we practically grew up with this shop. I’m talking about non-other than Caesars Confectionery. Personally, Caesars were a staple in my house and were also definitely staple snack food at every classroom birthday party I had growing up. You could cover my eyes and bring me to a Caesars shop, and I would instantly know where I am because of their signature smell of freshly baked pizzas, puffs, buns and pastries of all kinds. So, today let’s take a trip down memory lane and talk about all things Caesars.

Here is a fun fact for you all: Caesars has been established in the UAE since 1989 and has over 10 restaurants and 19 Confectioneries across the country. Not to mention the numerous branches they have open through the GCC too. Caesars truly is one of the longest-standing Confectioneries in the country and is renowned for it.
The best part of Caesars I’ll say is that while their food can be quite filling you’ll never have to feel bad about how much you’ve eaten because their prices are just that affordable. Let me prove my point – their signature veggie cheese pizzas are only AED 1.58 a piece, so a box with a dozen pizzas would only cost you AED 18.96. They have an enormous variety of baked goods. Spanning from cheese puffs, to Spinach fatayers, chicken sandwiches or tandoori kebabs, there is something for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians here.
Now Caesars doesn’t just cap itself at amazing baked good but they also have a stunning variety of cakes and pastries. They are all melt in your mouth, drool worthy desserts. However, Caesars completely out-dos itself but making incredible custom cakes for all kinds of occasions such as birthday, or other large gathers. And when I say the cakes are customisable I mean it. When I was younger I would have a picture of myself printed out onto edible sugar paper and plaster full size on my birthday cake. Cakes can be bought per KG and tier, this ensures not a single crumb goes to waste because you can know exactly how many people your cake will feed.
This a wild nostalgia ride, and I hope all my OG Dubai kids loved remembering this bakery as much as I did. And I hope even more everyone reading this goes out immediately to grab a bit from the one and one Caesars Confectionery. With their affordable prices and fantastic taste, there’s no question where you’ll find me during my working break scrambling for some food.
