#Breaking : Dubai’s RTA Announces Road Closure Due To Heavy Rain

Are you facing difficulties while driving on waterlogged streets during heavy rains in Dubai? The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that certain roads in the city will be closed to the public to ensure the safety of motorists.

Road Closures Due To Heavy Rain In Dubai

The Al Sabkha Tunnel, for example, is closed in both directions and the route has been diverted to the traffic light intersection above the tunnel. If you are looking for alternative routes, you can take the Sheikh Zayed Road, First Al Khail Street, or Al Yalayis.

Additionally, the intersection of Al Asayel Street with Latifa Bint Hamdan Street is also closed in both directions. The RTA suggests using the First Al Khail Street, Latifa Bint Hamdan Street, and Umm Suqeim Street as alternative routes.

It is important to note that the Dubai Police app has also sent out alerts warning of multiple major accidents that have occurred on the road this morning. The authority is urging motorists to follow the rules and be extra cautious while driving on the slick and waterlogged roads.
