Making Cricket Dreams Come True

Many of these workers come from cricket-loving nations, but with skyrocketing ticket prices and overwhelming demand, attending a match seemed like an impossible dream. Sajan decided to change that by distributing tickets across four key matches – 100 tickets per game – so that passionate fans could experience the thrill of the tournament firsthand!

Fair & Exciting Ticket Distribution

To ensure fairness, the tickets were allocated through a lucky draw. Employees who wanted to attend submitted their names, and winners were randomly selected. Priority was given to workers from Bangladesh, Pakistan, and India (countries where cricket is deeply loved) while still maintaining diversity in the selection.

The matches chosen for this special initiative include:

  • Bangladesh vs. India – February 20
  • India vs. Pakistan – February 23
  • India vs. New Zealand – March 2
  • Semi-final – March 4

A From The Heart From Anis Sajan

Sharing his excitement for the initiative, Sajan said, Cricket is more than just a sport; it is an emotion that unites people across borders. Many of our blue-collar workers are devoted cricket fans, but the high ticket prices and overwhelming demand make attending a live match a distant dream for them. They work tirelessly to support our company, and this initiative is my way of giving back. Watching their cricketing idols live in action will be an unforgettable experience. My goal is simple: to bring joy and show appreciation for their dedication.

Although he wished he could accommodate his entire team, he emphasised that 400 was the maximum he could manage at this time.

Ensuring Comfort Throughout The Day

Since these are 50-over matches, Danube Group has taken extra measures to ensure workers are comfortable throughout the experience. As food and drinks are not allowed inside the stadium, lunch packets will be provided on the bus ride to the venue. During match breaks, workers will receive food and water coupons to redeem at stadium stores. After the match, which is expected to end around 8:30–9:00 PM, additional food packets will be distributed for their journey home.

A Special Screening For Those Staying In UAE

For employees who weren’t selected in the lucky draw, Sajan has arranged a special live screening at the Danube warehouse. This will allow them to enjoy the matches in a vibrant and engaging atmosphere with their colleagues!

A Commitment Beyond Business

With ticket prices soaring and online platforms overwhelmed, many fans have struggled to secure seats for these high-stakes games. But thanks to Sajan’s dedication to his employees and love for the game, his workforce won’t miss out on this incredible experience.

This initiative by Anis Sajan reflects Danube Group’s continuous efforts to support and uplift its employees. More than just a business move, it’s about fostering meaningful experiences, bringing people together, and leaving a lasting impact on the lives of those who work tirelessly behind the scenes.
