Expo 2020 Dubai will close on March 31 with a closing ceremony in the central Al Wasl Plaza, the same spot where the opening ceremony took place 182 days ago last October. The closing ceremony will start at 7 PM, with Mira Singh (who performed at the opening ceremony) taking the stage.
At 8.45 PM, Grammy-winning cellist Yo-Yo Ma will perform at Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre. This will be followed by pianist and singer Norah Jones’ performance on the Jubilee Stage at 9 PM. After that at 10.45 PM, Christina Aguilera (the pop legend) will perform an extended performance.
The activities will be shown live on more than 20 huge screens across the Expo site, including the major stages, Festival Garden, and numerous country pavilions. The event will continue into the evening, with full headlining concerts from each artist taking place across the Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre and the Jubilee Stage.
