Abu Dhabi’s $1.3 billion Reem Mall finally opened its doors! The grand inauguration was led by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence. Reem Mall is now ready to welcome an expected 16-18 million visitors annually with its 186,000 sqm of leasable space. With amazing features like an app that will help you find your car if you lose it in the parking garage, this new mall promises unique and innovative services for the community. Reem Mall boasts over 400 retail units and 80 F&B options. The standout feature is the sub-zero Snow Park Abu Dhabi. Other attractions include popular high-street brands like Zara, Nike, and Adidas, along with dining spots like Eataly and New Shanghai. The mall also features Bloomingdale’s and Vox Cinemas with private rooms. More attractions, including a family entertainment centre, are set to open later this year.
Next month, Reem Mall will launch an app with a unique feature to help you find your car in its 6,400-space parking lot. The parking is smartly designed, with different levels for visitors coming from Abu Dhabi City and Reem Island to ease traffic flow. Bruce von Kaufmann, who has spent 23 years in the UAE, understands the local traffic challenges and aims to provide a smooth experience for all visitors.

Another exciting upcoming feature is a “Phygital” store, blending digital and physical shopping experiences. This store will allow customers to see, touch, and order products for home delivery or pick-up from locker facilities. Additionally, a cloud space will offer co-working areas for small companies and startups. The mall’s omni-channel digital platform will help retailers, including international brands, to reach customers in the UAE without physical storefronts.
To celebrate the inauguration, Reem Mall is hosting a summer carnival filled with fun activities, live shows, music, and entertainment. The mall is also set to introduce several innovative services by the end of the year.
