The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi’s (DCT) released an additional revision for the start of the new year to ensure the emirate’s admission policy is by the growing global health context. The following change will take effect on Monday, January 3, 2022.
Passengers travelling from places on the ‘Green List’ are exempted from required quarantine precautions. The quarantine will be required for specific categories of arrival from non-Green List countries (those who have not been completely vaccinated), and there are differing PCR testing criteria.
This time, Jordan, Qatar, Russia, Lebanon, Turkey, and the United Kingdom have been removed from the list, while Algeria, Morocco, Seychelles, and Tunisia have gained Green Status.
