Shawarma is not just a word for all people in the Middle East, its an emotion. We middle eastern people cannot compromise when it comes to shawarma, while we all have a different style and preference in eating it but we all have one thing in common, i.e you cannot pass your week without eating one shawarma at least. Or in our case shawarma is bae. People across the city have there shawarma hangout spots or their favourite local joints which they go to and while we are there we come across some typical types of shawarma eaters that we meet.
I mean why are they even having one or for our knowledge they aren’t eating shawarma. It’s like eating Indian curry without spices which do not exist at all.
For them the concept of eating shawarma doesn’t exist, they drink it. Yes, they love their shawarma to be full saucy and filled super extra tahini and garlic paste. You can drink the shawarma rather than taking the effort of chewing it.
The people who love spicy, give them a whole bottle of hot sauce and it will still never be enough.
These people are just obsessed with fries and they love it with there shawarmas as well as falafel. But let’s be honest shawarma with fries does taste better.
If you are an avid shawarma lover you will always troll your veg friends. Even if they say let’s grab a falafel you will hear let’s grab shawarma. These are those guys who say same same but different. And I am sure you try to persuade your veg friends by saying they are missing out on the best food on the planet.
What do I even say about them, they go all Masterchef Australia onto there shawarmas and the cafeteria guy has a blank face.
Oh, these people should be officially banned. They would want tomatoes or more such ingredients in there shawarma which does not make any sense for us.
How would you eat shawarma, slide down the paper and eat correctly? But these people surely murder the shawarma while eating.
They don’t talk anything below AED 100 or 50. Their meat is imported from Europe, bread from Lisbon and so on. And if that’s not enough they would go for a 24k edible gold shawarma.
These people are our personal favourites. They know all the places that serve shawarma for AED 5 or under, and we need to be true to ourselves and agree that the small local joints have the best taste.
